Pesto alla Genovese


Pesto alla Genovese is perhaps the most known sauce ever. Originally from Liguria, Italy, it is made with Olive Oil, crushed basil and nuts. It is a fresh, delicious pasta sauce, ideal for pasta, pizza, pasta salads. Its flavor is sharp and it can be served either cold or warm depending on the season. Either way it will be a success! Warm up the pesto on a pan, add some of our Liguria Taggiasca Extra Virgin Olive Oil Nº100, a bit of Fleur Blanc and serve it with freshly shaved Parmigiano Reggiano®.
