We made this superb Oaxacan Red Molé recently for Mexican friends who thought it tasted just like home. Its rich spice notes are complemented by a distinct chocolate flavor that make it so special. It can be spooned over roast or baked chicken or pork, or try simmering small pieces of roast chicken in the molé for a few minutes before serving. Juquilita is a small producer of a top-quality traditional Molé Sauces that are unique to Oaxaca. This ancient recipe of roasted cacao beans, mulato chiles, cloves, and special spices brings the true flavors of Mexico home to you.
