This product features two highly regarded and sought after French delicacies. The olive oil is produced in the hills of Vallee des Baux-de-Provence, from ripened whole olives and extracted through only mechanical means. This guarantees the preservation of the organic and nutritional quality of the product. The oil is cold pressed bearing a highly fruity and strong aroma. It is then infused with Piment d’Espelette in both cord and powder form.
Piment d'Espelette is AOC from the Basque region of France. Its growing region is limited to 10 villages to ensure the precise production process. The chilies are strictly harvested by hand and cultivated in fields of fresh air with a specific planting density. Espelette pepper has both sweet and slightly bitter notes, and medium heat that builds and lingers. The oil is excellent for seasoning, bringing fragrance, flavor and spice to a variety of dishes. It makes an excellent dipping oil to accompany cocktails.
