Greece

When I think of Greece in culinary terms, I catch the scent of rosemary wafting on the breeze of sun-bleached islands surrounded by an azure sea. Lunchtime is approaching and other fragrances enter the sensory picture: grilling lamb and fish, savory and sweet baked dishes, all made with simple perfect ingredients: the richly flavored olive oil, honeys imbued with the flora of the country, and spices combined in distinctly Greek notes to define a meal.
